Troubleshoot invitations, history and connections
What to check when a Simplebingo invitation fails, a game is missing from history or numbers stop updating, without needlessly losing your participant state.
An invitation is unavailable
Check that the full URL was copied and ask the host to resend the current invitation. If the game was deleted, its old invitation can no longer be used.
If the screen says loading failed, check your connection and retry. A missing game is different from a temporary network failure. Ask the host before repeatedly creating new games.
A previous game is missing from history
Check that you are using the same device and browser as before. Joining in an email or social app's embedded browser and later using your regular browser can produce a different authentication state.
History is not an account-based list that automatically restores across devices. Clearing site data or ending a private-browsing session can lose the original authentication state. Restoring the same card after deleting that data is not guaranteed.
Numbers stop updating or differ
Check that everyone is using the same game's invitation, that the host is drawing numbers and that your device is online. Compare your drawn-number list with the host's first.
Once the connection returns, reopen the game in the same browser to check its state. Avoid repeatedly submitting creation or joining forms while they are processing, and follow any displayed error. Do not casually clear site data, as you may lose the ability to return as the same participant.
Joining or posting is refused
Players who have left or been removed by the host may be unable to join. Ask the host instead of trying to bypass the restriction with another identity.
Messages must be no more than 120 characters. Posting intervals, game-wide message counts and participant counts also impose limits. Read the reason shown on screen, wait before retrying or use another communication method provided by the host.
Useful details to give the host
Describe the time, device, browser, error message and the action immediately before the problem. When sharing a screenshot, avoid including other players' names, messages or unnecessary personal information.
You do not need to send passwords or browser authentication data. Share invitation URLs only with the people who need them, rather than in a public troubleshooting post.
